The basketball courses are designed as recreational sports activities for anyone interested. In the courses, two-thirds of the time is usually spent training and one-third playing (except in the play groups). The course structure is tailored individually to the training group. We ask that you arrive on time for the courses so that the methodological sequence is not disrupted and injuries are avoided.
What courses do we offer?
Basic course - Training - You want to try out basketball and have little or no previous experience. In the basic courses, fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, catching, and shooting are taught and applied in the game.
Advanced I - course (Aufbau) - Confident mastery of basic techniques and knowledge of the rules are required, as is an understanding of group and team tactics. The courses focus on team play and teaching advanced tactical elements. In addition, individual skills are consolidated and improved at an advanced level.
Advanced II - course (Fortgeschritten)
You have already attended a basic course or acquired prior knowledge in some other way. Individual skills such as dribbling, passing, catching, and shooting are applicable. You are also familiar with the rules, positions, and basic terminology. The advanced courses mainly consolidate the basics and teach simple group and team tactics.
Playgroup - Advanced (Fortgeschritten)
In the playgroups, the focus is on playing basketball without instruction.
Play groups are primarily intended for advanced players.
3x3 basketball = a fast-paced version of basketball in which two teams of three players and one substitute play on half a court with only one basket. The goal is to score 21 points within a limited attack time of 12 seconds.

Women's competition teams
The basis of the teams for the SHM and DHM consists of the advanced women's training group at the DHSZ. The team is supplemented by student club players. If you are interested, please come to the training group and contact the course instructor or the basketball coordinator.
