Are you interested in handball at the DHSZ? Then you've come to the right place!
Whether you've played handball before or just want to get started, everyone is welcome here. Our various courses cover all levels of your handball career. Our mixed model creates an open atmosphere in which people of all genders are welcome to play and train together in a course. Our instructors not only teach the fun of the game, but also aspects such as technique and tactics.
Here is some information about the different courses and what you should bring with you for these courses:
We offer these courses:
Beginners (Level A)
- you need absolutely nothing, except a registration :)
- if you have already watched handball somewhere, it is of course a small advantage
Beginners:inside Continuation (Level B)
- you can catch the ball safely
- you are confident when bouncing/dribbling
- you know where your throw should go
- you know roughly where everyone should stand on the field
- you know the basic rules of handball
Intermediate level (Level C)
- you fulfil all the requirements of course B
- you have mastered feints and can set blocks
- your throws and passes are precise
- you have mastered simple crossing and parallel kicking
High level (Level D)
- you fulfil all the requirements of course C
- you can read the game and react accordingly
- safe control of the ball
- knowledge of proper defensive behaviour
Uni selection
The university selection is for people who are travelling to tournaments (e.g. in Magdeburg or Constance). The course is password-protected, as the aim of the course is to play together and to consolidate tactical content such as moves. The password can be obtained from Nicole.
