Alongside Salsa, Discofox is one of the most popular couple dances in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, which is partly due to its simplicity and versatility. It can be danced to a wide range of music styles ? whether to music from the 80s, hits or pop music.
Discofox emerged from the foxtrot when free improvising disco dancers returned to the dance posture in the 70s and added elements of swing, boogie-woogie and two-step to the classic foxtrot.
Of course, no party is complete without it. It offers a great selection of different elements.
