Synchronized swimming, also known today as artistic swimming, is a demanding and aesthetic sport that combines elements of swimming, gymnastics and dance. Athletes perform synchronized movements in the water, often to music, and compete in individual, pair and team competitions.
The course is aimed at interested beginners and provides an insight into the sport. In the first few weeks, the basics of synchronized swimming are taught, and endurance, agility, strength and body control are trained alongside paddling techniques and treading water. During the course, the first figures, lifts and jumps are practiced.
Prerequisites:
Safe mastery of swimming basics
No fear of a deeper pool (3m - 4m depth)
Enjoy working in a team
